Begining
Suryas Marine LPG Kit Co. was established in 1997 at Aluva, Kerala and has been manufacturing LPG Kits. The company after achieving a breakthrough in the design of the versatile LPG Kit for use in the Marine Outboard Motors, is now conscious of its vast potential in delivering products and services to the globally spread fishing community.
Marine LPG Kit
Suryas Marine LPG Kit Co. produces conversion Kits to operate liquid fuel IC engines with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Surya’s Marine LPG Kit with accessories supplied as retrofit Kit was developed specially to suit high speed two strokes and four stroke Outboard Motors of ratings varying from 9.9 H.P to 40 H.P., particularly used in fishing boats. The Kit is most advantageous for those who use mixed fuel of Kerosene and Petrol.
Approvals
The Kit has been approved by the Ministry of Shipping, Road transport & Highways, Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India and department of Explosives. It has also passed intensive tests conducted by IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal, India and products also patented by Government of India
More Approvals
Subsequently tests were conducted by CIFT(Central Institute of Fisheries and Technology) and CIFNET(Central Institute of Fisheries and Natural Engineering Technology) and favorable Certificate/reports were given by them directly both Central Government authorities .We are the only manufacturer of approved LPG conversion kits for Out Board Engines in India.
Love the Nature, Use LPG
It is non-toxic, non- corrosive in nature.
Since LPG is a clean fuel, harmful emission such as oxides of sulphur, carbon dioxide, suspended particulate matter and nitrogen is reduced significantly. Using LPG as fuel will ensure that the performance of the engine is always consistent and smooth.
It does not produce harmful emission like CO, NOx and higher hydrocarbons.
